Going round the Moléson
This is an ideal route for a one-day hike, going all the way up to and round the summit gives one the satisfaction of climbing a peak that provides you with a magnificent 360° panorama.
On leaving Moléson-Village, the path goes through the Clés valley and continues with the climb up the Bonnfontaine coomb.
After having a meal at the Observatory Restaurant on the peak of the Moléson (2002m), the way down is past Tsuatsaux and Gros-Moléson on a path along the side of quite a steep slope, not however used by very many even when there are large numbers of people out walking.
You can cover part of the route by using lifts – the funicular and the cable car.
