A hike in ten stages, through the very heart of the Pre-Alps, exploring the characteristic scenes of the Gruyère Pays-d'Enhaut Regional Nature Park, across high pastures, up to the tops of mountains, and through forests and villages.
This region is the cradle of Gruyère AOC and Étivaz AOC, and affords the unique experience of being immersed in an area of exceptional beauty, in the captivating world of the armaillis (traditional cattle farmers). The décor is superb, and there are amazing views to be had across the valleys and lakes, the Plateau, the Alps and the Jura.
The course is in 10 stages, starting from Charmey, Château-d'Oex, Montbovon or Rossinière (in July and August). Both departure and arrival points are well served by public transport.
