The Gastlosen geological path

At the foot of the Gastlosen range is a didactic path on which, with the help of 12 observation posts, you can learn all about the geological treasures of this site, one of national importance.
This didactic path runs across the area situated to the north-west of the Gastlosen range. This part of the Pre-Alps is of great geological interest and is an integral part of the inventory of geotopes of national importance.

Nevertheless, the public at large is mostly unaware of the rich diversity to be found here, and this adds enormous interest to this itinerary ; people can discover the secrets and geological treasures of this area – its rocks, their history and the landscape that they have fashioned out. All the way along the route, 12 observation posts give you information about the formation of the mountains, the rocks that constitute them, and so on. Do not forget to take with you the explanatory flyer or the detailed brochure!
