Living traditions à la Carte
The cutting of paper, tavillon, the poya, lace, dry stonewalls, the tales and legends and many others, the Parc has a rich intangible heritage. For half a day, local artists and craftsmen introduce classes to different living traditions typical of the Gruyère and Pays-d'Enhaut (PER: all FG, SHS and CT cycles).
Along the way, students can observe and reflect on the connections between the cow and the landscape, on the mysteries of making a millstone of Étivaz AOP or Gruyère AOP, on life in the mountains, from yesterday to today, with a tasting of delicious local products (2nd cycle).
In the heart of the hive
Visit an apiary with a Park beekeeper. They will safely presents the hive and its inhabitants. This visit helps to understand what his work, his equipment and the life of honeybees consists of (for all cycles).
Let's build a wild bee house
Learn how to build wild beehives, a concrete and simple gesture to help them find suitable living spaces. Classes have the choice of making small models that each student can take home, or insect nest boxes to build together (for all cycles).
The rate may vary depending on the activity chosen. A discount is possible to classes in schools located in the Park's territory.
