It is in the heart of the Intyamon valley that the Espace Gourmand welcomes you. Local specialities, wines and a warm welcome, everything to spend a pleasant moment in the Intyamon valley, famous for its traditions.
In addition to the shop, the Espace Gourmand includes a restaurant "L'Etable", a wine cellar and a small conference room. In the summer season, a pleasant terrace is nestled at the back of the building.
The restaurant and shop offer a selection of local and regional produce and handicrafts.
Fondues are given pride of place. You will also find a choice of more than 50 cheeses (including Gruyère AOP and Vacherin Fribourgeois AOP of course). The famous meringues with the double cream of La Gruyère are also a real delight. A biscuit display invites you to discover the wonderful flavours of yesteryear, such as aniseed biscuits, bricelets or Bénichon mustard.
The house's speciality is the Vacherin Fribourgeois d'alpage AOP.
The owner of the establishment, Marc Savary, makes this vacherin traditionnaly on a alpine dairy of the Intyamon Valley.
