Discover the amazing beauty of Himalayan Art.
It is with great joy that the Alain Bordier Foundation announces the opening of the Tibet Museum at the heart of the medieval town of Gruyères.
It is the encounter between a collector and a place: the Tibet Museum shows the result of 30 years of passion for the art of the Himalaya.
The visitor is invited to discover Buddhist Art within the framework of the renovated chapel of St. Joseph and to enjoy a selected choice of sculptures, paintings and ritual objects.
The new application is here for information. Directly linked to the Tibet Museum database, it allows you to browse the exhibition window by window, room by room, but also to guide you with a map of each room and to choose the piece on which you want to have more information. Your smartphone and tablet instantly transform into a specialised companion and Tibetan Buddhism will no longer hold any secrets for you.
