A new craze, ski mountaineering enthusiasts can take advantage of the three trails on offer in Charmey.
At all times, three dedicated itineraries are available on the Charmey ski area. For your guidance, the ascent route is marked in green. The downhill itinerary, marked in yellow, is not groomed and can be used at night. The Ganet itinerary is only accessible from 17:00 to 22:00. For safety reasons, the slopes are not open at night, except for the reasons described below.
Presentation of the three itineraries
The Vitaski itinerary offers educational panels on the local fauna and flora over more than 4 km. Information related to open-air winter sports can be found at the start, at the Route de la Chaudalla.
Distance: 4'390 metres | Elevation gain: 749 metres | Duration: About 2 :45 uphill
The itinerary of La Scie offers a 3.88 km marked trail in the region of La Scie. The start is on the Route du Pré de l'Essert.
Distance : 3'880 meters | Elevation gain : 570 meters | Duration : About 2 :10 uphill
The Ganet itinerary follows the ski slope and takes you to the summit. Departure is from the Mountain Cableways car park. Please note that this route is only accessible at night from 17:00 to 22:00.

Late night opening of the ski area
To enjoy your passion on the Ganet track, access is allowed daily between 17:00 and 22:00. During this time, the groomers have a rest so that you can fully enjoy the track.
Restaurant
The restaurant Les Dents-Vertes is open to ski or snowshoe hikers every day until 22:00.

The use of these itineraries are done under your own responsibility at all times. For safety reasons, it is imperative that you do not ski down the ski slopes at night!
