Come and climb the north face of the Moléson thanks to the two Via Ferrata routes: Le Pilier or La Face. These alpine routes promise strong thrills in complete safety. With a sublime view of the surrounding peaks.

Both Via Ferrate routes are accessible from the Plan-Francey mid-station in Moléson. After about 30 minutes of walking, you will find yourself at the foot of the North Face, at the start of both routes. Of varying difficulty, they allow everyone to learn or perfect their Via Ferrata skills. Over a height of nearly 400 metres, steps embedded in the rock make this activity possible, in complete safety.

Blue route | Via ferrata du Pilier
The beginning of this route is very accessible and allows you to warm up for the rest of the route. After this first flat, the climbing starts with a first ascent up metal rungs. It continues for about 1h30, alternating between grassy areas, to catch your breath and nice climbs. A few slightly aerial passages allow you to enjoy a panorama of the Moléson and the surrounding landscapes.

Red route | Via ferrata de la Face
This route, more difficult, starts with a rather steep climb on metal rungs. The climber is directly immersed in the atmosphere of a Via Ferrata. After 1 hour of climbing, after half of the Via Ferrata is climbed, and a break is possible thanks to a flat area. There is a little less than 1h of climbing left to reach the Croix and the summit of the Moléson. A physical, aerial and breathtaking ascent for initiated climbers.
For the more sporty climbers, it is possible to complicate the ascent even further thanks to a "black", difficult and sloping passage that requires you to pull yourself up using the strength of your arms.
