André Isenegger, an enthusiast baker, opens the doors of his bread oven in Cerniat. Making of bread with organic flours and sourdough (to take away at the end of the course). An apéritif and a meal. This is the chance to discover and try out together an ancient know-how around a wood oven.

The forge of Charmey
Since the 19th century, the blacksmith of Charmey were shoeing the horses and repairing the lumberjack's tools in the little village of La Tzintre near Charmey. The forge was very important in the local economy. Today, the forge reminds us of this period and conserve all the old tools and machines used back in time.
The forge can visited on demand. Max 15 persons. Price : CHF 150.-. Duration: circa 2 hours
Cheese cave of La Tzintre
The famous alp cheese cave of La Tzintre welcome you for a visit and a cheese tasting.
The cave can visited on demand. Min 6 persons. Duration: circa 2 hours, price on demand.
Come and help a mountain farmer to clear the land. You’ll join forces to have a taste of agricultural work ! And you will eat a nice picnic freshly made with products from the Park or a meal on the mountain pasture. This day will be the opportunity to discover the way of life of a mountain farmer and his multitasking job. Depending on the layout of the alpine huts, you may spend an extra night on a bed of hay.

Tasting basket: a gift idea
Whether it is to introduce friends to the flavours of our regions, or simply to indulge yourself, the Parc offers you two boards of specialities from Vaud and Fribourg. The products are nicely arranged on an emblematic wooden plank of the Parc, used by the tavillonneurs to cover roofs.
The Vaud board for the price of CHF 45.-: 200g of Gruyère AOP*, rebibes of L'Etivaz AOP*, a tomme Fleurette*, a meat product**, a bottle of syrup*.
The Fribourg board for the price of CHF 30.-: 200g of Gruyère AOP*, 200g of Vacherin fribourgeois AOP*, Préfleuri*, a meat product**, mini meringues.
