Adults will enjoy the story of Catillon: this witch could turn herself into a toad, dance with the devil, curse farmland, or spoil cheese. Historians know that the origin of this legend is Catherine Repond. She used to beg in the region in the 17th century.
In Sorens there is a fountain dedicated to Catillon, illustrated with an image of the witch on her broomstick. And the Catillon Stone, said to have hurtled down the Moléson mountain due to her witchcraft, is visible in the village of Moléson. You can even make out a clog print...
